A cameo as Katy Perry’s Alien lover, a runway regular for prestigious designers such as Alexander McQueen and Givenchy and now a starring role opposite stylish songstress/Siren Lana Del Rey in her epically beautiful, short film entitled ‘Tropico’. Unique and undeniably individual male model Shaun Ross has officially got it going on.

Born in 1991, making him two years younger than myself and making me feel very much inadequate in life as a result, Shaun has already made history by being the first albino male model. A title he refers to as the ‘First African American Albino Model’, evidently proud of his achievements and accomplishments his peculiar look has found him lending his alternative and exquisite face to a list of heavily innovative and sensationally artistic editorials.

Wearing eccentric oddities from the world of catwalk couture and the adventurous avant garde variety, Shaun has tried his hand at a diverse body of work over the last few years. Donning androgynous designs, rocking expressive elegant garments from the likes of Christian Dior, Jean Paul Gaultier and Shaun Samson, and occasionally even stripping down and wearing nothing at all.

All in a days work for a young male model taking the industry by storm, pushing the boundaries of both fashion and culture, and all the while looking every bit like a shinning beacon of striking male beauty. The perfect poster boy for all things creative, innovative and experimental in the modern artistic world of the fashion elite.

Narrowing down my favourite images from Shaun’s opulent portfolio is naturally not an easy task to accomplish when it contains an array of dazzling, eye-capturing and enchanting high-fashion editorials of a truly unique and distinctive style genre. Almost every frame of every single shoot this young man has been involved in has that certain je ne sais quoi.

What Shaun Ross possesses is slightly indescribable, it can however be comprehended only through the use of expressions such as ‘OMG’ ‘belissimo’ and the occasional ‘F**K Me’. Don’t believe me? Take a look at his captivating catalogue above and get back to me.
