ROUGH COPY

The UK X-Factor has become rather boyband obsessed over recent years what with success stories  JLS, Union J and One Direction all finding stardom on the reality TV show, but only one of them genuinely exudes cool and contemporary style for the modern man. Oddly enough, that just so happens to be the lads of 1D who rock slick and sophisticated outfits time after time. 2013 however has found a new boyband emerge within the creative confines of the X-Factor showcase, three ridiculously trend savvy gents who go by the name of Rough Copy.

Rough being the perfect word to describe their urban, raw and real take on their individual style choices. Mixing sartorial street flavours with futuristic silhouettes, materials, textures and retro 90s infused trends with a modern spin.

The Croydon trio Kaz, Sterling and Joe have wowed the judges and the fans alike with their intriguing versions of Jessie J, One Direction, Oasis and Backstreet Boys chart hits, but for this guy, keeping track of Rough Copy’s impeccable taste in captivating clothing is the only thing on my mind.

Cropped, structured, layered, leathered and vibrantly coloured, Rough Copy’s quirky and confident catwalk inspired wardrobe is a refreshing and welcome delight to the often travesty styling’s of the X-Factor style team. Rough Copy stands levels above the rest in the style stakes, proving to be extremely current and exactly what the music scene requires. New blood with an explosive style packed full of runway laden designs and avant garde artistic and creative flair.

Keep up the good work guys. We’ll be watching you.
