Lookbook

Although there seems to be a slight hurricane currently going on outside in various parts of the UK, the Spring/Summer season is merely four weeks away and I for one cannot bloody wait. Here to get us in the mood are the stylish folks of MQT who kindly sent over a few images and a bit of info on their SS13 campaign.

Originally starting out as a family run denim manufacturer to some of the most well known brands in the world, MQT have put into practice their years of knowledge and expertise, carving out a credible men’s fashion label in their own right.  After earning themselves a legion of fans, MQT boldly progress into SS13 with a raw, industrial denim and refreshing colourful chino collection, living up to their name of ‘Mastering Quality and Tradition’, this season is their most intricate and detailed yet.

Revealing a landmark moment in their development, MQT showcase the 'life of denim’, by developing a 'wash palette' from fresh to formidable.  Along with a broad colour palette of soft summer shades and pastels chinos, the SS13 collection features an arsenal of unique denim styles.  With new shapes including low rise, relaxed tailoring, twisted, skinny, and more, all chinos are engineered with a timeless appeal and a vintage aesthetic.

I for one am loving the relaxed feel and tone of the collection. The simple yet effective styling, the rolled up trouser cuffs and the soft neutral shades throughout provide a warm welcome of simplicity and eloquence. Tailored to a more formal approach through the use of fitted and classic Oxford type shirts and short sleeve designs. A more modern Talented Mr Ripley with colour

The family run company was built based on the principles of quality and authentic European manufacturing. Every garment is put through vigorous tests to ensure that the highest standards of quality is met. Stockists now include Selfridges, Flannels, ASOS and many more.
