Three weeks ago I attended KTZ AW14 runway show at London Collections:Men, watching all 120 menswear looks make their catwalk debut in an alienesque world of metallic skull caps, an assortment of black velvet garments, eccentric tapestry prints and wave after wave of white leather outerwear.
Monochrome was the aim of the game, pushing black and white as the domineering canvas, as hoodies, tracksuits, bomber jackets, oversized t-shirts, leggings, tight-fitting trousers, capes and overcoats serenaded the KTZ audience with an urban-ethnic-futuristic take on modern high-end streetwear.
Mixing tribal androgyny alongside galactic new-age punk, KTZ’ created a collection bursting with character, confidence and captivating design structure in both texture and silhouette. The roles of the arctic alien warrior and the future soldier of tomorrow dazzled on the catwalk as the glistening metallics glimmered impressively from start to finish.
Concluding in a hive of male model/KTZ activity in the form of a menswear fashion frenzy as all 120 looks took their place at the head of the runway for a lasting impression. Genuinely too cool for school. If you don't believe simply look above or below.
